Zwolle to upset the odds at The Hague

ADO Den Haag host Zwolle in the Dutch Eredivisie this evening and they are a shade of odds-on to pick up the victory, however with just one home win all season, Paul Robinson thinks they have to be taken on.

It seems only forces of nature can stop us getting winners at the moment as last night's match between Emmen and Cambuur was unfortunately postponed. We're staying in Holland today and you can watch all the action unfold on Betfair Live Video.

ADO Den Haag are having a decent campaign compared to last year's standards and they find themselves up in eighth place with 19 points from 15 matches played. They have only won four times though as the secret to their success has been avoiding defeat - drawing nearly half of their fixtures to date.

Maurice Steijn's side have been struggling in front of their own fans though; six points from a possible 24, and their sole victory came against the rock bottom, Willem II. What must be concerning for their supporters is that their form at the Kyocera Stadion has been poor for a while now, as it's just two victories from 16 league games in the calendar year.

Zwolle won promotion to the top flight last season after storming to the Jupiler League title. They have made a satisfactory start to their campaign at this higher level; picking up 13 points from their opening 15 fixtures and are a couple of places above the relegation zone.

Art Langeler's men are undefeated in three; including a hugely impressive draw at league leaders, Twente, where it took a last minute equaliser from the hosts to deny Zwolle all three points. That is just one example of their quality on the road thus far, as they've played nine in all competitions and lost just twice, both of which were pretty narrow defeats.

I feel the market has severely underestimated Zwolle's away form and coupled with ADO Den Haag's dismal results at home, I can't have the hosts at around the 1.97 mark. That's why, at the prices, I have to make them my lay of the day.
