Wenger urges focus after shock

Arsene Wenger has called on his Arsenal squad to focus fully on their next game after they were beaten by Bradford City in the quarter-finals of the Capital One Cup.

The Gunners saw one route to silverware disappear as they lost out on penalties to their League Two hosts, with Wenger forced to try and lift his players ahead of Monday evening's trip to lowly Reading. The Frenchman said: "Where it leaves our season is to focus on the next game. Sport is about that. Win the next game, focus on the next game." Even more worrying for Wenger was the fact that he fielded a strong side to take on the Bantams and Arsenal will need to respond quickly against the Royals at the Madejski Stadium.
