Townsend backs QPR to stay up
Andros Townsend refuses to accept that Queens Park Rangers will be playing in the Championship next season even though they are seven points away from safety.
QPR, 1/14 with bet365 to be relegated after losing 3-2 at Fulham, face a crunch must-win clash against Wigan Athletic at Loftus Road on Sunday. It is a game that QPR can be backed at 13/10 to win, but on-loan Spurs right-back Townsend, who turned in an excellent performance for Rangers at Craven Cottage, insists everything is still to play for. He said: "We believe we can still get out of it. We're scoring goals again and looking like we can really take the game to the opposition. "The gaffer has said he thinks 37 points might be enough and that's four wins and two draws, which we feel we are capable of."
