Sterling sees Liverpool as top-four challengers
Raheem Sterling believes that the good form Liverpool showed in the closing weeks of the season should help to make them top-four challengers next term.
The teenager played a key role for Brendan Rodgers' side as they finished seventh in the 2012-13 campaign and they are 2/1 with bet365 to finish in the top four next season, while Spurs can be backed at 7/4. Liverpool looked more threatening following the arrivals of Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge in January and 18-year-old Sterling said: "We finished the season strongly, so hopefully we can start the new one that way and push for a good position. "The two signings we brought into the club in January - Coutinho and Sturridge - really kicked the team on. "I'm really looking forward to getting a chance to play with them and have a good season for the team. I really feel we have a strong chance to be in the top four."
