Snooker: Selby vows to improve
World number one and new UK Champion Mark Selby believes that there is plenty more to come from him, despite having landed a first major title.
Selby, beaten in the 2007 World Championship final, finally got his hands on one of the two biggest prizes in snooker by defeating Shaun Murphy 10-6 in York, but the Jester from Leicester was far from satisfied with his form. He said: "I was a little disappointed with the performance, but a result's a result. "As far as I'm concerned I missed too many easy balls and I probably still need to work on that, but the good thing is I'm sat here as UK champion and I still know I can improve." Selby, who won The Masters in both 2008 and 2010, is [b365}8/1 with [b365}bet365 to be crowned world champion in 2013, with Murphy [b365}14/1 and 2011 runner-up Judd Trump [b365}9/2.
