Smalling up for derby date

Manchester United defender Chris Smalling expects his side, 6/5 to win the game with bet365, to be on top form for the derby clash with Manchester City on Monday.

The Red Devils suffered the disappointment of an FA Cup sixth round replay defeat at Chelsea earlier this week, but Smalling has backed United to hit back against the Citizens at Old Trafford. He said: "It will take us a couple of days to get over the Chelsea game, because we went into that game with a lot of confidence. We felt we were going to win that game. "At least we have a good game now against City, we have to now rally together. Our fans will be right behind us and we have to make sure we give them a good performance." Extra motivation for United comes from the desire to exact revenge for a 6-1 thrashing at the hands of City in the corresponding Premier League fixture last season.
