Rugby Union: OShea happy with underdogs tag
Conor O'Shea insists he is happy that everyone is writing off Harlequins as possible Aviva Premiership Grand Final winners.
After enjoying an excellent season for two-thirds of the campaign, Quins suffered four successive defeats, including the Heineken Cup quarter-final loss to Munster, before overcoming Bath at the weekend. The Bath result means that director of rugby O'Shea remains confident Quins can win the Grand Final for a second year in a row. Harlequins are 5/1 with bet365 to win next month's Grand Final, while Leicester Tigers can be backed at 11/8. O'Shea said: "I'm quite happy for people to write us off but they should remember our win percentage this year is actually better than last year. "We didn't have all the momentum last season and we went through a huge series of games where we lost. We won 14 games in a row and then we lost something like seven or eight games post-Christmas, but we got the momentum back."
