Rugby Union: Heaslip hopes to build on November form

30Jan 2013

Ireland captain Jamie Heaslip is wary of the quality Wales possess as he prepares to face the Red Dragons on Saturday in the Six Nations.

The Emerald Isle are hoping to continue the momentum from their 46-24 victory over Argentina in November and are 6/5 with bet365 to beat Wales this weekend in Cardiff. Ireland, 4/1 to win the Six Nations title this year, have struggled to overcome Wales in recent encounters, with Heaslip saying: "In the last three matches, Wales have beaten us. They're a side that can score from anywhere and have good kickers. "Leigh (Halfpenny) has got a massive cannon and he can kick from anywhere. "We assessed what happened in the November matches and we've learnt from those games by using them as stepping stones."
