Rugby Union: Croft points to mental edge
Leicester Tigers forward Tom Croft hopes that defeats in the last two Aviva Premiership Grand Finals will give his side the edge against Northampton Saints.
The Tigers, 2/5 with bet365 to win the final at Twickenham on Saturday 25th May, have lost out to Saracens and Harlequins in the last two seasons, but Croft believes the mental scars from those losses could prove to be a positive. The England back-rower said: "Next week we can start building towards the final. There won't be any stone unturned, so it will be a huge week for us. You've got to be the team that turns up. "A lot of us have been in the situation of losing the final and it hurts. As much as it won't be in the back of our minds, it will be niggling there somewhere and hopefully it will give us that extra edge." Leicester saw off Quins 33-16 to reach the final, while the Saints recorded a superb 27-13 victory at Saracens.
