Rangers still a worry for Martinez

Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez, whose side are 9/4 with bet365 to be relegated, has warned that struggling QPR will pose a big threat at Loftus Road on Sunday.

The Latics are currently outside the bottom three on goal difference, with the R's seven points adrift of the safety mark after successive 3-2 defeats to Aston Villa and Fulham. However, ahead of a classic relegation six-pointer this weekend, Martinez, whose own side have won their last two games, said: "I saw them against Fulham and although they made big mistakes at the back that cost them goals, they created plenty of chances. "They were very unfortunate not to get anything out of their last two games. We know they are capable of winning games and we'll be well aware of what can happen." Wigan have won just one of their last five meetings with Rangers, that a 2-0 victory at the DW Stadium in August 2011.
