Queen's Club Betting: Tsonga to fall short against Murray again

Sean Calvert continued his excellent run of tipping form yesterday with another winner and he's backing Andy Murray to carry that record on today at Queen's Club..

Friday was another successful day of grass court betting as my advice of backing Lleyton Hewitt to defeat Juan Martin Del Potro proved to be sound.

The Aussie had to show his customary grit to recover from a second set fight back from the big Argentine, but he was a convincing winner at a nice price in the end.

Today's semi finals feature Hewitt taking on Marin Cilic at 1.15pm before Andy Murray faces Jo-Wilfried Tsonga at around 3pm.

Murray and Tsonga are meeting for the 10th time in total today, with the Scot a 7-2 leader overall and he also holds a 3-1 advantage on grass with Jo's last win on the green stuff coming way back in 2004.

The home favourite has won his last six straight against the Frenchman and the threat that Tsonga does pose on grass has made Murray a decent price to win this and worth backing minus 2.5 games at around 1.8.

Tsonga has begun to sparkle again this season under the tough coaching regime of Roger Rasheed, but he still has limitations in his game and Murray is highly likely to expose them as he has done every time in their recent meetings.

The big Frenchman flatters to deceive at the top level and a quick look at his stats make him tough to side with today having lost 16 of his last 18 matches against players ranked higher than him.

I will take Murray today and it's also worth sticking with Hewitt, who took down Cilic on the grass at Wimbledon in their only career meeting at the Olympics last year and this is a similar sort of match to the one Rusty prevailed in yesterday.

Cilic as defending champion will be up for this, but if Hewitt is physically fit he stands a very good chance of reaching another Queen's Club final at the age of 32.

The Aussie is 2.34 for this and as I make him around a 60/40 shot to win this odds-against is worth a bet.
