Opta Stats: Norwich v Swansea

6Apr 2013

England - Premier League

Norwich can go within three points of Swansea with a victory but will be perilously close to the relegation zone should they lose.

Norwich City have won all three of their Barclays Premier League clashes with Swansea City. The Canaries are 2.7 to win.

The three games between the two teams in the Premier League have produced 16 goals in total. Over 2.5 goals can be backed at 2.16.

Of the teams to play more than 20 Premier League games in April, only Derby (0.80) and Charlton (0.79) average fewer points per game than Norwich (0.81 - W6 D4 L17). The Canaries are 14.0 to be relegated.

Only Stoke City (5) have picked up fewer points from their last 10 Premier League games than the Canaries (9). A Swansea win is available at 2.96.

Swansea City are yet to win in the league this season when they have fallen behind (D6 L11). Norwich are 4.8 to win half-time/full-time.

However, the Welsh outfit have only dropped five points from leading positions, winning 10 of the 12 games they have lead in. Swansea half-time/full-time is available at 5.4.

There have been fewer goals scored at Carrow Road (31) than any other Premier League ground this season. Under 1.5 goals is 3.35.

Grant Holt has scored three goals in his last two league appearances against Swansea. Holt is 2.7 to score.

Anthony Pilkington has netted three times in three Premier League games against Swansea. Against no side has he managed more. Pilkington can be backed at 4.0 to add to his tally.

Michu has scored a league-high six headed goals this season for Swansea. Last season, the highest tally of headed goals by a player was Steven Fletcher (7). Michu is 2.8 to score a goal with any part of his anatomy.
