Despite their best efforts to get the pitch ready for the visit of Russia, Northern Ireland's game has been postponed for the second time...

Originally scheduled for Friday night, Northern Ireland's home game against Fabio Capello's Russia has now been postponed for a second time as the inclement weather put paid to a swathe of games across the country.

An optimistic second kick off time of 3pm this afternoon was mooted for the Green and White Army to play their fifth game in Group F, but that wasn't to be.

Other games around the country that have succumbed to the unseasonal conditions are:

League One

Sheffield United v Brentford

Colchester United v MK Dons

Crawley Town v Crewe Alexandra

Shrewsbury Town v Oldham Athletic

League Two

Bradford City v Bristol Rovers

Burton Albion v Wycombe Wanderers

Chesterfield v Plymouth Argyle

Port Vale v Aldershot Town

Rochdale v Southend United

Rotherham United v Exeter City

Blue Square Bet Conference Premier

Barrow v Ebbsfleet United

Braintree Town v Alfreton Town

Mansfield Town v Macclesfield Town

Nuneaton Town v Woking

We advise you keep checking news outlets for further information on other games as the situation develops throughout the afternoon.
