Neville plans for life after Everton
Former England international Phil Neville has announced that he will leave Everton when his contract expires at the end of the season.
However, the 36-year-old, who has featured in more than 500 Premier League matches for Everton and Manchester United as well as representing England on 59 occasions between 1996 and 2007, hopes to carry on playing. Neville moved to Goodison Park in August 2005 in a £3.5million deal after spending more than a decade at Manchester United. He said: "I want to continue to play at the top level as long as I can, and will be weighing up my options before making a decision on my next move. "It's been an honour to play for and captain Everton. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time on Merseyside and will leave with immense pride. I'll now be doing everything I can to help Everton finish as high up the league table as possible." Everton, 12/1 with bet365 to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season, face QPR on Saturday in a match they can be backed at 11/2 to win 2-0.
