Murray sets up Berlocq showdown
Andy Murray will play Carlos Berlocq in the fourth round of the BNP Paribas Open after beating Yen-Hsun Lu in straight sets at Indian Wells.
The world number three, 7/2 with bet365 to win the tournament, took just 88 minutes to see off the 29-year-old from Taiwan 6-3 6-2. Afterwards, the Scot said: "He started off well. It was a tough match. He's caused a few upsets over the last couple of years. "He takes the ball extremely early, hits the ball very flat and really goes for it. He can kind of leave you flat-footed sometimes, and he certainly did that a lot in the first set." Meanwhile, Berlocq's fellow Argentinian, Juan Martin del Potro, 12/1 to win the BNP Paribas Open, saw off Bjorn Phau 6-2 7-5 to set up a last-16 clash with the 34-year-old German Tommy Haas.
