Murray must tighten up
Andy Murray accepts that he needs to tighten up as he prepares for the ATP World Tour Finals after suffering a shock third-round defeat to Jerzy Janowicz at the Paris Masters.
Murray, 9/4 with bet365 to win next week's season finale in London's O2 Arena, let match points slip away against Janowicz, having done the same in each of his last two defeats - to Novak Djokovic and Milos Raonic. That prompted Murray to say that he needs to work on his mental approach ahead of his bid for glory in front of the home fans in London. He told the ATP Tour's official website: "I have to make sure I tighten that up next week, if I get that opportunity in the matches - make sure I don't let it happen at The O2." Murray was forced to withdraw during the group stages of last year's Tour Finals due to a groin problem.
