Murray feels the need to improve
Andy Murray is set for some hard work on the practice court as he aims to enjoy a successful clay court campaign.
Murray crashed out of the Monte Carlo Masters in the third round and accepts that he needs to improve his game if he is to eventually mount a challenge for glory at the French Open - with Murray 8/1 with bet365 to triumph at Roland Garros. He told reporters: "I need to make sure I get good practice in, that's for sure, over the next two weeks. "No-one wants to lose matches, but hopefully I can use it as motivation to improve, because I need to do a lot of work. "Normally, towards the end of the clay court season I start to feel better with my game and I've had some good results, but at the start I have struggled a little bit." Murray's best showing at the French Open came in 2011 when he reached the semi-finals, while last year he made the quarter-finals before being beaten in four sets by David Ferrer.
