Moyes fears draws will cost Everton

England - Premier League

Everton manager David Moyes is becoming increasingly concerned that his side's inability to turn draws into wins could cost them a place in next season's Champions League.

Everton are currently fifth in the Premier League table, just three points behind Tottenham Hotspur but, although they have only lost three times so far this season, they have been held to 10 draws. Everton, 9/2 with bet365 to finish in the top four this season, could make ground on Spurs in the next round of fixtures though. Andre Villas-Boas' side take on leaders Manchester United this weekend while Everton do not play until Monday when they face Southampton, who are 15/8 to be relegated this term. Moyes, who is trying to bring in a couple of new faces on loan during the transfer window, said: "These draws could cost us if we don't turn them into wins. We need to play a bit better and maybe be a bit more clever in the final third."
