Mancini refuses to rule out title

England - Premier League

Despite being nine points adrift of Manchester United, Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini remains adamant that his side are still very much in the Premier League title race.

The Citizens, 13/2 with bet365 to retain their title, have drawn their last two games to fall behind in the chase of United, but Mancini refuses to accept that the race is already over. He said after seeing his team draw 2-2 at home with Liverpool on Sunday: "This championship is not over, absolutely not. There is still time for a team to make a mistake. "We probably now need to win all of our 13 games, but if not 11 or 12." Mancini hopes to see his side close the gap in the coming weeks as United have a Champions League tie against Real Madrid to focus on, with a crucial derby set for Old Trafford on Saturday 6th April.
