Maicon desperate to stay in Europe

Brazilian right-back Maicon is determined to help Manchester City clinch a place in the Europa League.

Roberto Mancini's side have failed to progress from the group stage of the Champions League for a second successive season, but can still qualify for the Europa League if they win at Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night and Ajax fail to do so at Real Madrid.
