Liverpool play down Suarez exit talk

Liverpool insist Luis Suarez was misquoted when the Uruguayan hinted that he would not be averse to leaving Anfield and moving to a club that could guarantee him Champions League football.

The Reds seem certain to miss out on Champions League football for a fourth successive campaign as they are currently seventh in the Premier League table, nine points adrift of fourth-placed Tottenham with only eight matches of the season remaining.
