Leonardo makes Ronaldo admission

Leonardo has said Paris Saint-Germain are one of "only four or five clubs" in a position to make an offer for Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 27-year-old, who has a contract at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu until June 2015, cast doubt on his future in the Spanish capital earlier this season when he suggested he was "sad". Los Blancos - now quoted 20/1 in the outright betting - trail bitter rivals Barcelona by 16 points and ongoing speculation about the future of coach Jose Mourinho has sparked talk that countryman Ronaldo may also quit the La Liga champions. Leonardo refused to rule the French powerhouses out of any future move for the Portugal international and the director believes only a handful of clubs would be able to tempt his away from Madrid. "Cristiano Ronaldo? Paris Saint-Germain have become a club where anything is possible," Leonardo was quoted as saying by L'Equipe. "However, he still has an ongoing contract with Real Madrid and we have to realise that he will not leave Madrid for just any club. "When we are discussing a possible transfer for a player like Cristiano Ronaldo, there are only four or five clubs that can be taken into consideration. Paris Saint-Germain are one of those clubs ..." The former Manchester United favourite is available to back at 14/1 in the 'Top Goalscorer' market for La Liga 2012/13.
