Leicester v Wolves: Wanderers worthy of a small investment

Leicester certainly seem to the schedulers' favourites when it comes to the Championship games shown live on SKY and the Midlands promotion chasers make their fourth appearance in two months as they entertain Wolves, another side to have regularly been featured recently, in an unusual Thursday evening slot.
Leicester
Nigel Pearson's side hard-fought 1-0 win at home to Middlesbrough last time out in the league, in another televised fixture, lifted them up to second place but they were grateful to goalkeeper Casper Schmeichel for a fine penalty save in injury-time to ensure all three points. That was yet another clean sheet for the Foxes - their fifth in six games at the time. Although they did concede at Huddersfield in the FA Cup on Saturday, an equalizer from, yes you've guessed it, Chris Wood, ensured a reply next week at the King Power Stadium for which they will be favourites to reach the fifth-round. Solid rather than inspired they certainly appear to have the stamina to finish in the top two come May.
Wolves
If Leicester's strength is conceding so few goals then Wanderers' problem has been scoring them. Despite boasting, on paper at least, one of the division's top strike pairings in Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Kevin Doyle, they have managed just three goals in their last seven matches and slipped to another disappointing home defeat at the hands of Blackpool on Saturday after Ebanks-Blake had given them the lead. They have slipped to 18th in the table and desperately need a couple of wins to steady the ship and prevent themselves being dragged into a fight to avoid what would be a calamitous second successive relegation.
Match Odds
Wolves have been struggling of late but we have to remember they were a Premier League side last season and 8.2 is a huge price about a side with plenty of players who were performing at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge 12 months ago. They are well worth backing at that price with a view to cashing out for a profit if they take the lead. Leicester aren't bombproof by any stretch of the imagination and, as we know all too well, in this league anything can happen with supposed good things regularly turned over at short odds.
Under/Over 2.5 goals
Leicester's season has been built around an impressive defence with the occasional flurry of goals against the weaker sides. Dean Saunders will be determined his men try to keep it tight at the back and look to nick something on the counter so a tight game is in prospect and backing under 2.5 goals at 2.08 can pay dividends.
Recommended Bet: Back-to-lay Wolves at 8.2
Other Bet: Back under 2.5 goals at 2.08
