Lee Dixon: Galatasary offer a sniff of value at home to Madrid

Lee Dixon takes a look at Tuesday night's Champions League action where, with nothing but pride left to play for, Galatasaray might just inflict defeat on Real Madrid...

Galatasary v Real Madrid (0-3)

Live on ITV, KO 19:45

Let's face it, Real got the job done in the first leg and this tie is as good as over - odds of 120.0 on Galatasary qualifying show the task in front of Fateh Terim's side.

But I do think they can give their fans a little cheer in the return leg. A 3-0 lead means Real can go in relatively relaxed and Gala should have enough about them to at least score a goal. I don't expect Jose Mourinho to field the second team, but the odd key performer may be rested and that should give the home side the chance of regaining a little pride.

There is enough attacking talent in the Galatasaray ranks to break through the Real rearguard and Didier Drogba in particular will want to put on a show for Mourinho, his beloved former manager. Who knows, there may be a little bit of value in an unexpected Galatasary win at 5.2. I'm willing to throw a few quid at it.

Borussia Dortmund v Malaga (aggregate score 0-0)

Live on Sky Sports 1, KO 19:45

For anyone who hasn't been, a game at Borussia Dortmund's Wetfalenstadion is an amazing experience and unquestionably one of the best away days in football. There will be a phenomenal atmosphere on Tuesday night and that should be enough to carry the home team into the semi-finals.

A goalless draw was not what anyone expected from the first leg and, in truth, it wasn't the worst result in the world for Malaga. If you're the sort of team that backs yourself to score a goal then a tie like this is certainly not over.

Well, that's what Malaga should be telling themselves but it's not how I see it! I'm not going to be clever, I see the home side winning this but rather than taking the 1.42 on a straightforward victory in 90 minutes I will take a chance on the German side doing that without conceding. I suspect this will be on the cagey side but Jurgen Klopp's team will have enough to edge past their Spanish opponents.
