Lay Peterborough to beat Birmingham @ 2.4

Since appearing to be dead and buried leading into the festive period, Peterborough deserve huge credit for lifting themselves off the bottom of the Championship. It's now just two losses in their last ten league games for the Posh, who are on a four-game unbeaten run heading into this collision with Birmingham. However, a closer look at the form book shows that the Blues are not likely to roll over as easily as their last opponents Millwall. Admittedly, Lee Clark will not be happy with the number of recent victories - two in their last nine league games - though just the one loss in the most recent seven indicates some steeliness at least. Birmingham also won the return fixture in September and haven't lost in any of the last six encounters with their hosts.

Lay Brentford to beat Walsall @ 1.85

Only two places separate Brentford from Saturday's visitors to Griffin Park, with Walsall sitting in ninth place in League One. A storming surge had propelled the Bees up as high as second before Christmas, though Uwe Rosler's side have seemingly lost their way in 2013, picking up just two wins in their last eight League One outings, resulting in a slide out of the play-off places altogether. Chiefly to blame was that FA Cup run, which saw the League One side play out a draining replay with west London rivals Chelsea. Walsall's rise up the table however has been meteoritic, with the Saddlers winning eight of their last 11 games ahead of this trip south. The sides drew 2-2 earlier in the season and, given Walsall's current form, it's too tempting a price to lay.

Lay Dagenham and Redbridge to beat AFC Wimbledon @ 2.08

With things so tight at the bottom of League Two, current basement boys AFC Wimbledon know a victory across south London could catapult them as many as four places up the table if other results go their way. The signs are positive too, given their hosts Dagenham have been in obliging mood in recent times, losing three of their last five league games and winning just once in that sequence. Conversely, the Wombles have only succumbed to defeat twice in their last seven League Two matches and will be confident that they can at least secure a point to aid their survival cause. The teams played out a very evenly matched 2-2 earlier in the season.
