Laudrup demands repeat performance

England - Capital One Cup

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has played down his side's chances of reaching next month's Capital One Cup final.

The Swans, who are 1/1 with bet365 to win the cup, are in pole position to set up a Wembley clash against either Aston Villa or Bradford City after winning 2-0 at Chelsea in the first leg of their semi-final. However, Laudrup has warned against any complacency when City meet the European champions on 23rd January for a game his side are 14/1 to win 1-0. "We're not there yet," Laudrup said. "We're still very far. We will need a great, great performance like that one, or the one when we played Chelsea at home in the league, defensively without the ball. "If we don't have a good day, they can still score two or three goals because of the players they have. We have a realistic possibility, but there's still a mountain to climb."
