Lambert warns against complacency

England - Premier League

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has warned his players that they have not yet done enough to preserve their Premier League status.

Villa have won three of their last four games to move out of the bottom three, but they are only two points above the relegation zone going into Saturday's game against mid-table Fulham. Villa are 16/1 with bet365 to beat Fulham 3-1 and 10/3 to be relegated. Lambert is wary of any complacency sinking into the Villa camp, saying: "I don't sense any feeling that they feel the job's done and they know the hard work's still there, but they also know that they're playing really well at the moment. "If you keep that collective thing and that spirit then that's half the battle. If you look at the most successful teams then everyone's pulling the same way and this isn't any different." The hosts are still without Ciaran Clark, Chris Herd, Marc Albrighton and Richard Dunne due to injury.
