Horse Racing: Beshabar to miss Grand National
Beshabar will miss the Grand National on 6th April with an ankle problem, trainer Tim Vaughan has confirmed.
"It is with regret that I have to inform everyone that our Grand National hope Beshabar was found to have heat in a front fetlock joint this morning," Vaughan told timvaughanracing.com. "Following discussions with our vet, Tim Beauregard, we have taken the decision to take Beshabar out of training and he will therefore be scratched from the Grand National." Sunnyhillboy is priced at 14/1 to win the Grand National next month with bet365, while former Gold Cup winner Imperial Commander can be backed at 18/1.
