Gotze targets perfect farewell
Mario Gotze hopes to deny his future club Bayern Munich when he plays his final game for Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final at Wembley on Saturday.
Gotze is determined to shrug off a leg problem to finish his days with Dortmund on the biggest possible stage, with Borussia 21/10 with bet365 to be crowned European champions for the second time in their history. The Germany international will then head to Bayern, having already agreed a move which will make him the most expensive German footballer in history. Gotze told Bild: "To win the final in my last game for Dortmund would be by far the greatest (achievement) for me. "I want to take part in the game in London, absolutely, and will give my all for Borussia. I want to help the team lift the trophy." Dortmund were previously crowned European champions in 1997, when they defeated Juventus 3-1 in the Olympiastadion in Munich.
