Dante and Luiz Gustavo missing for Bayern
Bayern Munich will be without Dante and Luiz Gustavo when they look to complete an historic Treble in Saturday's DFB-Pokal final against Stuttgart.
The Brazil internationals were made to report for duty in Rio de Janeiro to meet Saturday's official deadline for preparations for the Confederations Cup. It means they will not be involved at Olympiastadion Berlin when coach Jupp Heynckes attempts to lead the Bavarians to a clean sweep of Bundesliga, Champions League and DFB-Pokal trophies in his final game in charge before Pep Guardiola takes over. Club chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge urged the players to seize their chance to make history and surpass the achievements of the legendary team of the 1970s, captained by Franz Beckenbauer, which won three successive European Cups from 1974-1976. "This team has already entered the history books, but they can make themselves immortal now as the most successful Bayern team of all time," Rummenigge said. Bayern Munich can be backed at 2/11 with bet365 to win in 90 minutes and Champions League hero Arjen Robben is on offer at 11/10 in the 'to score at anytime' market, with Stuttgart quoted at 12/1 to pull off a shock victory.
