Cross-Sport Multiple: Back Blues to sink Swans
Andrew Hughes thinks Chelsea can beat Swansea at their fourth attempt and help land a cross-sport multiple in the process.
Bet 1: Back Chelsea to beat Swansea at 1.35
This will be the fourth time that Chelsea have lined up against Michael Laudrup's team this season and they have yet to come out on top, although they've lost only once, in the first leg of their Capital One Cup semi-final.
With a trophy in the bag and Premier League safety long ago secured, Swansea's season is all but over, whereas Chelsea are engaged in a desperate scrap for Champions League football next year.
Chelsea's remaining fixtures include games against Manchester United, Tottenham and Everton, so this is a must-win match against a Swansea team that hasn't won in five. Rafa Benitez has been adept at rotating the Chelsea squad this season, and the home side should be fresh enough to win this.
Bet 2: Back Chennai to beat Kolkata at 1.66
Sunday's opening IPL game is a repeat of the IPL5 final, with two-time champions Chennai Super Kings taking on the team that won last year's showpiece.
They've enjoyed markedly different starts to IPL6. The ultra-consistent Super Kings have quietly gone about their business, and it is no surprise to see them near the top of the table. But Kolkata have struggled, losing five of their opening eight fixtures.
The Knight Riders finally returned to winning ways against Kings XI Punjab on Friday, but Yusuf Pathan failed yet again, and they have yet to settle on their best batting line-up. With Sunil Narine leading their attack, they can cause Chennai problems, but the Super Kings are tough to beat at home, and have the stronger batting line up. Back the home side for the win.
Bet 3: Back Saracens to beat Toulon at 1.95
With both teams leading their domestic leagues, Sunday's Heineken Cup clash will be a titanic struggle between the best team in England and the best team in France, given added bite by the fact that neither have reached the final of this competition.
Big-spending Toulon, led by Jonny Wilkinson, have one of the strongest packs in club rugby and Saracens will be keen to show they have improved in that area after they were blown away by Clermont's physical strength in last year's quarter-final.
The absence of key flanker Will Fraser is a blow for Saracens, but they can take comfort both from the fact that five of the last six semi-finals have been won by the home side, and that Toulon have lost four of their last five games away from the Stade Mayol. Back Sarries to prevail.
