Cricket: Winning crucial for Cook
Captain Alastair Cook is desperate to help England complete a 2-0 Test series sweep of New Zealand by securing a victory at Headingley.
England registered a 170-run win at Lord's to take a 1-0 lead and the hosts are 8/11 with bet365 to triumph in Leeds and secure a 2-0 series victory. That would put England in a good place going into the Ashes series against Australia later this summer, but Cook remains focused on the here and now. "Winning is vitally important, we want to win every game and series we're involved in," Cook told Sky Sports News. "That's the challenge, we want to try and win. It sounds simple but it will take a lot of hard work." New Zealand had hoped to be able to include left-arm spinner Daniel Vettori after nearly a year away from the Test arena due to injury, but he has failed a fitness test and Doug Bracewell is likely to step in as the tourists opt for an all-pace attack.
