Cricket: New Zealand bring back Taylor
Former skipper Ross Taylor has ended his short international exile and will be back in the New Zealand ranks for the upcoming clashes with England.
Taylor sat out the recent tour of South Africa after being axed as captain, but has decided to make his return against England, with the Black Caps 11/10 with bet365 to start off by winning the three-match Twenty20 series. Three one-day internationals and three Test matches follow the T20 action, with coach Mike Hesson hoping that Taylor will make a major impact. Hesson said: "Ross is a world-class batsman who is a key part of the Black Caps side." The return of Taylor is a major boost for the hosts, who are set to be without left-arm spinner Daniel Vettori for the whole of England's tour due to an Achilles problem, while leading seamer Tim Southee will miss the 20-over action due to a broken thumb.
