Cricket: Finn set to miss out
England are expected to omit Steven Finn from their line-up for the first Test against India after he failed to bowl a ball during Tuesday's practice session.
Finn has been struggling with the thigh strain he picked up during last month's match against India A but had been able to bowl on Sunday. However, after Finn failed to bowl a single delivery in the nets on Tuesday, wicketkeeper Matt Prior said: "The one thing you would say is, if there was a realistic chance of Finn playing, then he probably would have had a long bowl today." Stuart Broad, who recently sustained a bruised heel, was able to bowl at full speed in the session and is expected to be in the starting line-up for the first Test which starts on Thursday. England are 4/1 with bet365 to win the match while India can be backed at 13/10 to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
