Cricket: England hanging on in Auckland
England produced a strong performance with the ball on the second day at Eden Park to keep them in touch with New Zealand in their Test decider.
The tourists, who are 9/1 with bet365 to win the clash in Auckland, managed to bowl the Kiwis out for 443, thanks to career best bowling figures for Steven Finn who finished on 6-125. Finn was pleased with his team’s display on day two and, although England lost the early wickets of Alastair Cook and Jonathan Trott, he feels they are going to push New Zealand hard. The Middlesex seamer said: "Thankfully, we had some fortune today - which was good for me and us as a team - and we got the rewards eventually. "To lose two wickets is maybe slightly disappointing, but I don't think it's a disaster by any stretch of the imagination.”
