Cricket: Eden Park to host series decider
It is still all to play for in the Test series between England and New Zealand after the final day's play of the second Test in Wellington was washed out by rain.
The three-Test series is locked at 0-0 after the first Test also ended in a draw, so that leaves a winner-takes-all clash at Eden Park, starting late on Thursday evening UK time, which England are 2/5 with bet365 to win and New Zealand 17/2. England have only once lost a Test match at Eden Park, with the 15 matches since 1930 ending in four wins, one defeat and ten draws for the tourists. The one reverse came last time out in Auckland, with England going down by 78 runs in 2002, failing to chase down a victory target of 312 in a relatively low-scoring match. England bowling coach David Saker is hoping that the Eden Park pitch shows a little more life than those in Dunedin and Wellington, saying: "If you watched the Twenty20 and one-day games, they were played on very good and fast wickets - which produced some good cricket. "The two Test wickets we've played on have been quite opposite to that."
