Cricket: Cook wary of Dhonis class

17Jan 2013

England captain Alastair Cook is aware that his side need to work out how to dismiss MS Dhoni cheaply if they are to win the ODI series against India.

The Indian captain's 72 proved to be the key performance in Kochi as Dhoni's side won the second of five one-day internationals and, with the series now nicely poised at 1-1, the action moves on to Ranchi where the third clash takes place on Saturday. India are 8/13 with bet365 to win the game and move 2-1 up in the series, while Dhoni is 5/1 to be his side's leading batsman. Cook said: "Clearly it's very tough when you've got people like Dhoni in at the end. He's probably the best player in the world in those situations, in these conditions. "Hopefully one day we can produce a bit of magic to get him out, which puts them under pressure. He's obviously a key player for them and he's delivering at the moment."
