James Anderson has warned England not to read too much into their 48-run win over Australia in the ICC Champions Trophy.

The two sides go head-to-head in a series of fixtures over all forms of the game over the next few months, with back-to-back Ashes Test series the highlight. And many have suggested that England took an early psychological boost from their victory at Edgbaston on Saturday, with the hosts 4/9 with bet365 to win the Ashes series on home soil. However, a cautious Anderson said: "People talk about this being the first of 26 international matches against Australia in the next few months, but most of them are still way off the radar. "They might not be playing well at the moment, but they are a strong side and we know they are still dangerous - they always are." Next up for England in the Champions Trophy is a clash with Sri Lanka at The Oval on Thursday.
