Cricket: England wait on Broad scan

England's vice-captain Stuart Broad has aggravated a heel injury and could miss the Twenty20 internationals against India later this month.

The 26-year-old Nottinghamshire star went for a scan following net practice in Nagpur. He was dropped for the third Test victory against India after failing to take any wickets in the first two Tests and replaced by Steven Finn. Finn is expected to keep his place in the team for the fourth Test, which England are 9/4 with bet365 to win. A draw, which will hand the series to England 2-1, is available at 2/1. After playing two Twenty20 fixtures against India before Christmas, England face the same opposition in five one-day internationals in the new year.
