Jenson Button is confident that he will enjoy better times next season, having endured his 'worst year' at McLaren in 2012.

Button, the 2009 world champion, is more than 100 points adrift of standings leader Sebastian Vettel with just two races of the season to go, but hopes to do better next year, when he will be partnered by Sergio Perez. Button told The Guardian: "Since I've been here this has been the worst year. It's been tricky, even on good weekends. We've had a problem pretty much every weekend lately. "We've got to try a few new things with the set-up. I'm not happy with where it is at the moment, but hopefully next year will be perfect. "Next year is exciting, but we've still got two races where we want to do well in." Button's first task is to impress at the US Grand Prix in Austin on Sunday 18th November, with the Englishman 10/1 with bet365 to secure a third victory of the campaign.
