Interim Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez admits he has concerns over the long-term fitness of defender John Terry.

The Chelsea captain has managed just three appearances since making his return from a two month lay-off with a knee problem in mid-January and played no part in the Europa League win at Sparta Prague on Thursday. Benitez admits Terry is yet to fully recover from the injury, but is pleased with the form of current central-defensive duo Gary Cahill and Branislav Ivanovic. "He had a setback," Benitez said following Chelsea's 1-0 win in Prague. "After he was fine again. He had no reaction in the next training session. But we have to manage the situation. He has to train more with the team and then he will have more options to play. It's a vicious circle: If he cannot play, he cannot improve his match fitness but, if he can't train with the team, he can't improve his fitness. "We have to manage the situation but in the meantime, if Cahill and Ivanovic are doing well, we can keep winning games." Chelsea are 9/2 with bet365 to win the Europa League title and 1/6 to secure a Premier League top four finish.
