Christian Crowther sifts through Wednesday's five Champions League fixtures not featuring British clubs, offering up a tip for each match...

Shakhtar v Juventus, Wednesday 19:45, Sky Sports Red Button, Match odds: Shakhtar 3.8, Juventus 4.5, The Draw 1.92

Both sides will be aware that a draw will suffice if Juventus are to go through with Shakhtar, who would be guaranteed to finish top in that scenario. However, this is a dangerous game to play for Juventus, who were outplayed in the return match in Turin where they were extremely lucky to record a draw. Shakhtar are on an imperious 16-match winning run at home which they will not want to let slip, and have already proved they have the measure of the Italians.

Recommended Bet: Back Shakhtar in DRAW NO BET @ 1.79

Lille v Valencia, Wednesday 19:45, Sky Sports Red Button, Match odds: Lille 3.15, Valencia 2.46, The Draw 3.5

Lille have crumbled in this year's competition, representing another side who don't have anything to play for but pride. Valencia, who hired Ernesto Valverde to replace Mauricio Pellegrino as coach on Monday, are through but have the incentive of finishing top if they can better Bayern Munich's result at home to BATE Borisov. The Spaniards convincingly won the return fixture 2-0 at the Mestalla and, in striker Roberto Soldado, they have a man likely to test the joint-third worst defence in the competition. Soldado has bagged four in his last three Champions League appearances as well as notching a brace in La Liga on Saturday.

Recommended Bet: Back Roberto Soldado to score @ 2.36

Bayern Munich v BATE Borisov, Wednesday 19:45, Sky Sports Red Button, Match odds: Bayern Munich 1.12, BATE Borisov 32.0, The Draw 11.5

With qualification already assured, Bayern will be keen to polish the job off with victory over BATE in order to guarantee first place in Group F. This is also something of a revenge mission for the Germans who were stunned by a 3-1 loss to BATE in Belarus on matchday two. Bayern are in terrific form at present, especially at the Allianz Arena where they have clocked up 18 goals and conceded just two in their last five matches - including a 6-1 demolition of Lille in this competition. The home side are also buoyed by the return of Mario Gomez to the cause.

Recommended Bet: Back Bayern Munich to score four or more @ 2.52

Barcelona v Benfica, Wednesday 19:45, Sky Sports Red Button, Match odds: Barcelona 1.55, Benfica 6.4, The Draw 4.9

Benfica will be conscious that they must at least match Celtic's result to go through but have the unenviable task of trying to get something at the Camp Nou. Barcelona may have slipped to a shock defeat in Glasgow, though since then they have shown all-comers little mercy - winning their next six straight matches - racking up an average of 3.67 goals per game in the process.

Recommended Bet: Back Barcelona to score three or more @ 2.75

Braga v Galatasaray, Wednesday 19:45, Sky Sports Red Button, Match odds: Braga 3.4, Galatasaray 2.36, The Draw 3.4

Flying the flag solo for Turkey this year, Galatasaray have a great chance to qualify and will definitely do so with a victory over already eliminated Braga. The Portuguese will play no part in European competition after this game and have lost both preceding matches at home in the group stage.

Recommended Bet: Back Galatasaray to beat Braga @ 2.36
